I like trains much more than buses, you can relax more easily and spread out on a train, but on a bus you’re squeezed into tiny seats and probably end up stuck beside some overweight lardass who doesn’t understand the concept of sharing equally. That’s from personal experience.

OK this is a strange one so needs a little explaining – why is it so overblown? Well, if you look at An Eerie Train Station you should be able to see something grey on the very first small window on the far left; that’s where these two guys are sitting. I had taken five shots of them – looking at the thumbnials on my computer I could see each was brighter than the last so naturally I assumed I had taken different shutter speeds and had anchored the camera on some rigid surface. Turns out now as I remember it, each shot was taken at a different ISO and I was holding the camera – hence the obvious blurryness in the image below.
I only realised this once I had opened HDR Max but I thought it was unusual and was something different so I decided to keep it. It’s completely unrealsitic for sure, something you might see after 3 straight days of LSD. Opinions are welcome

My local train station is really very small – in fact this is most of it right here! I tok this photo on the same day as A Shining Light On A Gloomy Day. Very few people were around that morning since it was near Christmas and everyone had the proper sense to stay at home and veg out in front of the TV, stuffing their faces with sweets, as you should be around Christmas time.
I took the shot from the overhead gantry that links two (out of a total of three) platforms together – it does give a good vantage point so there’ll be a couple more of these shots to come for sure

On my way up from Drogheda to Dublin for some Christmas shopping over the holidays I thought some shots of my local train station would present some interesting photographs – unfortunately it was overcast as hell (and dark) that morning so I missed out on the classic ‘sun splitting the clouds’ scene that always makes HDR photos so surreal (I don’t care much for realistic/proper HDR). Anywho, the juxtaposition of the rather depressing sky and the wall light catched my eye than, and maybe yours now?
