Jumping across from Gozo to Amsterdam now, today’s pic is from Schiphol Airport. It was back in April 2010 when I was last there, my day of departure was the only day of decent weather
.
I’ve read through the Introduction and Chapter 1 of Captain Kimo’s new ebook, Secrets To Mastering HDR Photography. Chapter 1 delves into the settings of Photomatix and explains each one in equisite detail and clarity that anyone, from amateur to professional, would clearly understand. It will force you to ask yourself if you really are using Photomatix in the proper way. For example I would try to get a photo as close to the finished product as possible in Photomatix and do only minimal touchups in Photoshop, but after reading Kimo’s ebook I’m realizing that I may have everything backwards! Kimo explains in abundance how to use Photoshop to its full potential, and that Photomatix is only the starting point of a much longer journey.
