Oooooh I’ve just eaten a huge stir-fry with friends and am quite satisfied if I do say so myself. This is of course the River Liffey, the main (and only) river flowing through the wonderful city of Dublin. I had intended finishing the time-lapse video that it seems I will never finish but it was just too cold for me to bother, so I took this instead. There is a bit of noise in the water – I’ve never played around with noise reduction software but I’ll get onto that soon.

I use Noise Ninja and like it quite a bit. Never used any others, so I can’t say if anything else is better. Great photo!

I’ve heard great things about Noise Ninja, do you use it on your flickr photos??
I don’t use it too often on my flickr photos. I’ve mostly used it with photos people bring me here at work and want me to print them, but they are too dark or were taken at a super high ISO. My brother took a photo in some cathedral in Italy that was pretty noisy. I showed him how well it worked on that photo and he bought it. I think the makers of Genuine Fractals have a noise product, and I really love Genuine Fractals. That has worked VERY well for when someone emails me a photo from their phone and wants an 8×10 of it. D’OH!
