Dancing In The Sky

I grabbed this shot just as I was leaving home for college yesterday. Increasingly I’ve been regretting not having my camera with me at least once a day now so I’ve begun bringing it with me where ever I go. So what about a tripod? At the moment that’s a bit too much – as such most of my recent pictures have been processed using just one NEF file rather than the five that I would take if I had the time icon sad Dancing In The Sky

Camera Settings (1 NEF file)

  • Aperture: f/3.5
  • ISO: 200
  • Lens: 18-200 @18mm
  • Shutter Speed: 1/3200s

  1. Hey, loving the capture of the sky and clouds. HDR is so amazing for this granted the clouds arn’t moving at insane speeds [i've experienced it lol]. Processing the one raw helps here too.
The trees have an awesome growth pattern or perhaps that is ivy growing on them. It makes them much more interesting though. I wondered if you process in Photoshop after photomatix?

  2. Love the perspective here, and the colors (as usual). I also like the jet trails in the sky.
